About Me
GOALS
I am currently looking for a Front-End software/web application position but I will be learning Back-End along the way. My intentions are not only to keep learning and experimenting with new technologies throughout my career but I wish to inspire others to push their limits and reach their fullest potential as well. I will progress up to a Full-Stack developer and perhaps even become a Project Manager one day. I am very driven and self motivated therefore, I set my goals high. I understand the only one holding me back is me and I'm determined to push my limits and create things no one has ever seen before.
BIOGRAPHY
Hi there! My name is Jacob Flora. I'm currently living in Central New York. I am a husband and father of three awesome kids. I developed an interest in computer technology back in high school, where I became proficient in a variety of technologies. After years of working in a factory, I'm ready to chase my dreams and create awesome websites for the world to see! I am making a career change to not only better myself, but to also provide a better life-style for my family. I want to inspire my children to work hard and chase their dreams. The best way I can do that is to lead by example.
EDUCATION
In 2008 I graduated from Red Creek Central School. Then, in 2020, I enrolled in Wagner College. They offered a Web Dev Bootcamp program through QuickStart Learning. I learned many programming languages but my preferences are:

When I build web applications, I always take a mobile first approach. Then use Bootstrap and media queries to format for tablets and desk tops. Everything I build will look great regardless of screen size.
